Jacob and Timber

"Mom...I want a puppy!"
This is what Jacob says all the time in a very sad voice. I love my boys so much and I want to give them everything they want...but I draw the line at a dog. We are not a dog family. The next best thing is Timber-he is Jacobs cousin-Uncle Larry and Aunt Stacys dog and Jacobs best friend!

Douglas Beach - Lake Michigan

Here are a few pics of the boys in Lake Michigan on Saturday night. I had a job in Saugatuck (family pics) so Scott and the boys went with me and we spent a few hours playing in the huge waves and on the beach. Charlie made friends with the little girl down the beach and played with her shovel in the sand and mud-lots of entertainment. Enjoy!

The Deemter Weekend

Grandpa and Granny had two of the Deemter kids last weekend. On Saturday night we went to the Plummers pool to enjoy a few hours of swimming and a delicious dinner of hot dogs, cheese burgers and brats! It was a great evening with delicious food, fabulous company and a wonderful family!

Maggie Turns 14

My Maggie (cousin) turned 14 on July 25...last Sunday we went to her pool party. We ate pizza & cake and spent quality family time around her beautiful pool! The boys love to swim with the birthday girl and all the extended family! We had a great time-Happy 14th Birthday Maggie!

The Cottage on Green Lake

Last week The Bosschers rented a cottage on Green Lake. What a great location and a breath taking view from the wrap around deck. We took the boys out last Saturday afternoon to visit with Grandpa and Grandma and enjoy an afternoon on the water. Baby cousin Sydney was there to play too...we went for a swim, enjoyed the company and view on the deck, had some dinner and played with Grandpa until we were too tired to play any more! We had a wonderful afternoon-Thank you Grandpa and Grandma for the perfect afternoon to Green Lake!

A visit from Aunt Susie

My real dads only sister, Sue, recently moved to North Carolina to be near her family (and grandbabies). On a recent visit back to Michigan, Aunt Susie stopped by for a family visit. She brought with her my Aunt Mary and my cousins-Amber, Shelby, Jessica and Emily. On the day of the visit it was Emilys 16th Birthday. We went swimming at the pool and then had Grammies Hot Dog Suprise for supper. It was a wonderful treat. The boys had tons of fun and a visit from the Wood side of the family is always a wonderful rare opportunity! Thank-you for the visit!

"T" the turtle

"T" is Jacobs best friend-he has been with Jacob since he was born. Granny bought "T" at the hospital gift shop just after Jacob was born on July 14, 2005! Ever since the two have been together. "T" goes everywhere with Jacob-Jacob loves "T" very much. However, "T" is nearing the end of his short little life. "T" has a hole in his bottom where the tag used to be-the stuffing is all out of "T" now-he is flat except for his legs that are filled with beans. Even the stuffing in his head came out last week during his monthy bath (in the washing machine). Even with his flatness Jacob still loves "T" and takes him everywhere with him. Jacob took this pic of "T" a few weeks ago with my camera (and help). This is "T"-Jacobs best friend!

Jacob Turns Three

Jacob turned three on July 14! He had two parties and two cakes. The first was a big party at Grandma and Grandpa Bosschers house with not only his aunts and uncles (and cousin too) but his Great-Aunt Deb & Great-Uncle John from CA were there too! Jacob gots lots of presents and a delicious baseball cake! The second party was with his Granny and Grandpa Bob-Uncle Eric could not make it to the birthday party because of work but in his honor we had a delicious Bill Knaaps Chocolate Cake! We asked Jacob the best part of his birthday and with out hesitation his answer was "CAKE"! Thank-you all for making Jacobs third birthday special with all the wonderful gifts, delicious cake and precious family time!

Grand Haven

Two weeks ago we took the boys to Grand Haven on a hot and sunny Sunday afternoon for some nice family time. We walked the pier from the Fishermans Dock all the way to the end by the lighthouse and back again to the truck. Charlie loved to watch all the people as we walked along the water and Jacob just loved to have his picture taken! The heat was a bit much so we stopped for some much enjoyed icecream...It was a wonderful afternoon!

After much prodding by family and friends, we have finally taken the big step and started a blog to keep our family and friends in the loop with all that is going on in our very active family! Mostly, I will just post pics of the boys! Here is one to get everyone started. Enjoy!
